Inappropriate treatment

In recent years, there have been a number of instances of inappropriate treatment, discrimination and harassment in sports. It is FINCIS's task to produce up-to-date information to support decision-making and the creation of operating models.

Sexual and gender-based harassment

According to studies, women and sexual and gender minorities are particularly vulnerable to inappropriate treatment and harassment in sports. Underlying this phenomenon are the binary gender norms maintained in sports, as well as the masculine domination that prevails in the world of sports. FINCIS produces information on this topic through studies and research.

Abuse of power and corruption

Sports is one of the risk areas for abuse of power and corruption. They occur in various forms at all levels of sports. Although the abuse of power is not a new phenomenon in sports, there is still little research on it at a national level. FINCIS responds to this need for information through its research and investigations.
