Board of Directors
The FINCIS Board of Directors is responsible for FINCIS' governance, finances and strategic guidelines. It plans, monitors and evaluates FINCIS' activities and approves Finland's Anti-Doping Code.
According to the rules of FINCIS, the Ministry of Education and Culture can propose two or three members to the FINCIS Board of Directors, while the Finnish Olympic Committee and Finnish Paralympic Committee together can propose two or three members and the Finnish Society of Sports Medicine can propose one member to the Board. In addition, the autumn meeting of the association can appoint a permanent expert representing athletes who has the right to speak at Board meetings but no voting rights. The Athletes' Commission of the Finnish Olympic Committee can submit a proposal concerning the expert to the autumn meeting.
